"Hattie May" and "Mary" moored c1876—1880 (Scott McGinnis). In 'A Directory of Old Boats' "The "Mary" circa 1883. The sign in front of the pilot house reads "NO RACING BY THIS BOAT" as a response to the explosive hazards of high boiler pressure racing of the "City of St. Louis" and the "Belle of Minnetonka"." MHS (Minnesota Historical Society) date1889.
