Description:
Sailboat "Tartar" with William Peet Jr. at helm, leaving M.Y.C (Minnetonka Yacht Club) dock for Interlake race with the W.B.Y.C. (White Bear Lake Yacht Club) boat "Alfreda" sailed by C.M. Griggs. The "Tartar" was the 1896 Minnetonka Yacht Club champion and winner of the Interlake that year.
