Description:
A bus parked in front of Lyman Lodge loaded with suit cases. Campers arriving at Elizabeth Lyman Lodge named for the wife of F.W. Lyman. ("Minnetonka's Picturesque Deephaven") The date on the back of the picture is May 5, 1979. Fredrick W. Lyman sold Lyman Lodge to the YWCA in 1918 for the price of $1.00 paid in 100 years without interest. The lodge was an overnight camp for young women until 1974 when the facility was turned into a conference and retreat center. The last public event was on Dec. 13, 1988.
