Description:
474 Second Street. It was built in 1907 by Lyman family (Albert H.) of Lyman Irwin Lumber Co. In the late 1930's was sold to Clara and Jestin Sweeney. Jestin Sweenwy sold it in 1979. In 1981 the basement became Second Street Station a nonprofit teen club run by Norma Cross (Mrs. John) and owned by South Shore Clubs Inc. By 1985 it became Royal Glint Antiques Inc. owned by Greg Londer. In 1989 the home was owned by Darrell and Charleen Mortenson. In 1995 it was purchased by Warren and Connie Phillips of Mound and leased to their daughters Pam Phillips and Kim Gallogly who opened Collections a clothing store for women and kids. By 2000 it was the Excelsior Bay Spa Salon.
