Description:
Henry Eddy house was located just west of the Eureka Road turn off. It was built in the 1880's replacing a log house. The small structure (the summer kitchen) on the side of the Eddy House was removed and moved closer to the railroad tracks in 1913 (another source says 1920's) to become the Minnewashta Improvement Club building——address 6045 Strawberry Lane. In the 1920's (1913?) it (the summer kitchen) was moved to its present location and turned into a club house. It had a ball diamond, dance hall, picnic grounds and gun range for target practice. Many clubs met there including the local Townsend Club. Don't have a date when it was no longer a club but it is thought to have been in the 1940's. It was the Hudlow residence.
