Description:
Groveland School, Minnetonka, MN. This was the third Groveland school built at this site. It was built in 1915 and of the Prairie School architecture, reminiscent of the Carnegie libraries of the time. There were two rooms on the first floor which served as classrooms. On the second floor was a single large room that served as the gym and community meeting place. In the basement were the lockers, lavatories, showers and industrial arts classroom.
