Description:
Postcard of the Buena Vista Hotel. It is a colored picture (maybe color—washed). Printed on picture: Hand Colored Work. K.C. Kropp, Milwaukee. This hotel was located "across (Cook's By) from Bartlett's and up the shore from Chapmans" opened in 1902. Captain Hart, proprietor, in very early 1900's, saw to it that the hotel had its own fleet of steel fishing boats. The hotel burned to the ground on April 15, 1926.
